he will

• bring unobtrusive structure to your event
• meet with you prior to your wedding day to discuss your requirements and check all details
• arrive early at a civil ceremony venue in order to greet and direct your guests
• conduct the bridal party to, and announce them at, the wedding room
• arrive early at the reception venue
• ensure your wishes have been carried out as regards table arrangement, table decorations, flowers, music
• liaise with the catering, waiting and management staff
• confirm requirements of photographer/videographer
• meet and greet the bride and bridegroom on arrival from their wedding ceremony
• meet and greet guests and direct all to the pre-reception drinks area
• assist the photographer with the assembly of groups for photographs
• organise receiving line and announce guests through to wedding breakfast area
• process into the wedding breakfast with the bridesmaids, page-boys and best man
• and then follow with the parents of the bride and bridegroom, followed by the bride and bridegroom
• say Grace if desired
• announce domestic notices
• announce wine takings and speeches (and assist if required)
• present the history and symbolism of the wedding cake and arrange for the cutting of the cake
• on completion of the wedding breakfast, process top table out
• direct guests to retire should room require re-arrangement for evening entertainment
